Congratulations to Ricky on his appointment to Production Supervisor.
A former baker, Ricky joined us in 2018 as a casual labourer in what was initially going to be a temporary position whilst in between a change in careers., But such was his enjoyment, enthusiasm and obvious capability, soon enough his temporary casual position became a full-time job and he`s thrived ever since!
Ricky has shown outstanding dedication and growth having spent time as a line/machine operator, abrasive blaster, spray painter and then Team Leader of the Afternoon Shift, His journey is a true reflection of hard work, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
His years of hands-on experience across the production floor have built a strong foundation of knowledge, making him exceptionally well-equipped for this next step.
As Production Supervisor, Ricky will be responsible for achieving production targets while meeting the quality and service expectations of our customers. He will lead a diverse team, providing guidance in Good Manufacturing Practice and OHS, while continuing to model Doogood’s values on a daily basis.
We’re excited to see him thrive in this role and continue making a strong impact across our business operations.

Congratulations to Michael on stepping into the role of Commercial Operations Coordinator.
Michael joined Doogood back in 2019 in an Inside Sales & Support role and quickly established himself as a key figure within the orgnaisation. Michael has consistently demonstrated an exceptional eye for detail, an incredible memory and has a terrific raport with customers, qualities that make him a perfect fit for this position.
In his new role, he will provide all-round support across customer enquiries, inside sales, order administration, and quality documentation. As a key link between customers, sales, production, and quality, he will help ensure enquiries and orders are handled efficiently while maintaining accurate and compliant documentation.
We’re proud to see his growth within the company and look forward to the impact he will continue to make in this new role.

Our Ordish Road Facilities will remain operational as usual throughout the festive season, other than the weekends and public holidays. Company Announcement: Doogood Surface Coatings Pty Ltd acquires Adhesive Coating Services!
Doogood Surface Coatings Pty Ltd (Doogood) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the well-established and extremely well-regarded organisation, Adhesive Coating Services (ACS), coming in to affect as of January 1, 2025. Peter and his team at ACS have done a fantastic job over the past 20 years, providing high-quality industrial surface coatings to a wide range of clients across many different industries. Their dedication and expertise have earned ACS a strong reputation for delivering exceptional results, and we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to carry that reputation forward, long into the future. We congratulate Peter and his team, on a fine contribution to our industry and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
In a further exciting development, this acquisition coincides with the addition of our new facility right next door to our Head Office in Ordish Rd, Dandenong South. With another 1800m2 of production space, 600m2 of rear storage yard and a fence line that is shared with our existing facility, we will not only be able to house all the inherited ACS plant and equipment, but also expand our operational capacity in other areas of the business. The extended space and increased capabilities will allow us to enhance production efficiency through better workflow, utilise cutting-edge technology, and better meet the growing demand for innovative coating solutions across a wide range of industrial markets.
The acquisition of ACS, combined with our additional new facility, positions Doogood for an exciting period of growth. It will enable us to offer even more comprehensive solutions, further strengthen our commitment to quality, and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Earlier this month, Doogood Surface Coatings proudly showcased its innovations at Land Forces 2024, held at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
A standout moment was connecting with Byron Kennedy, CEO and Co-founder of SPEE3D, an Australian owned and operated company revolutionising metal 3D printing with their Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing technology.
Our team were excited to learn about the effectiveness of our collaboration and to see SPEE3D`S Expeditionary Manufacturing Unit (EMU) at work during the three-day Land Defence Exposition.
Doogood`s own Black Knight 1000 Coating System is specified for use on all Fasteners and Camlock Door hardware fitted to the XSPEE3D printer, providing functional wear and corrosion resistant properties as well as an aesthetically pleasing, durable matte black finish. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our diverse range of products and services with the Black Knight 1000 set against the backdrop of the magnificent camouflage, matte green finish, of the structure itself which we painted in a PPG Commercial Epoxy/Polyurethane system.
