COROTAC coating systems were designed to provide long lasting corrosion resistance to parts exposed to harsh environmental elements, such as roofing screws and automotive fasteners. COROTAC is also resistant to all automotive fuels as well as a wide range of organic solvents, acids and bases.

COROTAC 500 consists of a thermosetting aluminium pigmented epoxy coating applied over a Zinc Phosphate pre-treatment. COROTAC 1000 is much the same although it is applied over a Zinc Plate pre-treatment, providing extended corrosion protection.
