MATTE BLACK COATING SYSTEM
Our BLACK KNIGHT range of products consists of a series of solvent-borne fluoropolymer coating systems suitable for use across a wide range of industrial, commercial and domestic applications.
BLACK KNIGHT RC
BLACK KNIGHT RC has become very popular in the Building & Architecture industry due to its distinctive smooth matte black finish, excellent adhesion properties and hard chip resistant finish.
It is extensively used in many domestic and commercial applications such as:
- cladding for walls
- cupboards
- doors and handles
- bench tops and sinks
- bathroom fixtures
- tapware
An example of this is in our Globite House Project completed with ACS Builders.
It can be applied to various substrates including mild steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and brass amongst others, making it a fantastic option for “blackening” where other processes such as Black Oxide, Electroplating, Anodizing, Painting or Powder Coating don’t work.
BLACK KNIGHT 1000
BLACK KNIGHT 1000 is a fastener class coating system containing excellent low-friction and corrosion resistant properties. It can be applied via spray or dip-spin method, meaning it is suitable for small and large fasteners in a wide variety of industrial applications.
It also has AS 4020 approval meaning it can be used in potable water applications, making it a great solution for fasteners used inside of water tanks.
BLACK KNIGHT 3000
BLACK KNIGHT 3000 has many of the same attributes as BLACK KNIGHT 1000, though it includes an epoxy-based undercoat designed to provide extreme corrosion resistance on steel components exposed to harsh salt laden or chemical environments. It is an excellent alternative to high build paint systems for corrosion protection when tight tolerances are an issue due to its low film build.
