Doogood have been an important part of the supply chain for Melbourne’s High Capacity Metro Trains Project right from the get go, having contributed to urgent works required on the initial prototype, and since providing contracted works as the production of the 65 new trains has moved into full swing.
These progress shots of the Pantograph components show the PPG 3-Coat Polysiloxane system, which provides extreme corrosion protection along with anti-graffiti, fire rated properties and a 25 Year design life. There are 265 units required, which will be completed over a 5-year contract with Wabtec Austbreck, another great Victorian based company.
