This year marks 20 Years in business for Doogood Surface Coatings Pty Ltd.
In early 2001, co-founder Wayne Goodes, who had an extensive background in the coating industry, established Doogood with a clear philosophy in mind “to provide the best quality product, combined with the best customer service in the industry”. This philosophy would be applied to all customers, no matter how big or small and still applies today.
Wayne and his wife Sandra worked tirelessly to get the business off the ground in its early stages and their hard work soon seen Doogood establish itself in the marketplace as the leading authority in low film-build corrosion protection, dry-film lubrications and other specialised coating systems, supplying predominantly to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Mining industries.
For some time now Doogood has been in the hands of the next generation of Goodes family members with Jarrod Goodes as Managing Director, Tom Goodes as Operations Manager and Claire Goodes as Marketing Manager. The passing of the baton brought a fresh set of ideas, skillsets and ambition to expand and grow Doogood into the business it is today.
Now offering services such as Abrasive Blasting, Protective Coatings, Spray Painting & Powder Coating, on top of developing its own proprietary coating systems such as Black Knight, Fluoromax, Lubecote, Corotac & Flurobond, Doogood has built a strong reputation in many other industries including Defence, Construction, Manufacturing, Rail, Transport, Automotive and Commercial Architecture amongst others.
We are proud of our heritage, where we have got to and where we are heading. We are particularly proud to be an Australian owned family business that focuses on providing opportunities for its people and its local community.
The success of Doogood is a testament to its loyal staff, customers and stakeholders and as we look back on the last two decades, we would like to thank all of you who have been with us, for your ongoing support.
