Doogood Specialised Coatings Pty Ltd has certainly come a long way since it was first established by co-founder Wayne Goodes, back in 2001.
Starting out primarily as an applicator of specialised, low film-build anti-corrosion and dry-film lubrication coating systems for local engineering and manufacturing businesses, Doogood quickly established itself a serious presence in the coatings industry, through a strong dedication to quality and a willingness to go the extra mile to fulfil the service requirements of its customers.
Doogood has continued to grow and develop as a business and so has the range of high-quality surface treatments, products and services it is renowned for offering today.
To better encapsulate the much broader nature of the business and provide flexibility for further growth into the future, it was recently decided that Doogood would undergo a company rebrand, as such it would officially trade as Doogood Surface Coatings Pty Ltd from July 2019 onwards.
It will be the beginning of a new chapter at Doogood, with a fresh appearance through a new website, social media and other marketing platforms. The recent introduction of super talented and hardworking key management staff in various Quality, Administration, Sales, Marketing and Production roles have and will continue to provide us with new ideas, drive progression and stimulate company growth resulting in better outcomes for our customers.
Perhaps most pertinent though, is that those who had the vision and courage to start out on their own all those years ago, have decided to call it a day. Wayne and wife Sandra have made the permanent move to their beautiful property in East Gippsland to start a new little business venture (more to come on that one!) and the team at Doogood can’t thank them enough for their contribution over many years and wish them all the best on their future endeavours.
Eldest son Jarrod (Managing Director) and youngest son Tom (Operations Manager) officially now have the responsibility of leading Doogood into this exciting new era and both are looking forward to the challenge.
Whilst Doogood might have a new look, some fresh faces and a different name, its philosophy to provide the highest quality product, combined with the best customer service in the industry remains the same.
